“Ashes to Ashes” is a shortfilm about the grim reaper who lives in his big cathedral doing his daily job – cutting life-strands when time has come. Over the years he became really exhausted from his daily rutine… but one day something strange happens and the reaper gets an unexpected visitor.
This movie was created at the “Georg-Simon-Ohm University” in Nuremberg, Germany by six design students with key aspect on visual effects. They worked about 8 month on this project doing every aspect of the production – starting from the first scratchy idea till the final rendering and compositing.
