THURISTAR’s first short film, FAIR TRADING ? is a one-minute 3D animated film that follows the JOURNEY of a COFFEE BEAN, from cropping to delivery, by a SMALL PRODUCER.

The film deals with the serious subject of Fair Trade through a different, comedy angle.

Winner of the film competition organized by BeFair and the Trade for Development Center in 2009, FAIR TRADING ? has since been selected to a few international festivals :

– Rome International Independent Film Festival (Italy, April 2010) : selection
– Festival Internacional Cineposible (Spain, April 2010) : selection
– Cartoons on the Bay animation festival (Italy, April 2010) : selection
– International Short Film Festival Dresden (Germany, April 2010) : selection
– Festival international des Très Courts (France, April 2010) taking place in Paris and in 80 cities around the world : selection
– Festival Libre Court (France, June 2010) organized by France Télévisions : selection
– Seoul International Extreme Short Film Festival (South Korea, November 2010) : Seoul Metro Choice Award
