This is the second musical film collaboration involving this team of creatives. In the wake of their first collaboration, “Did I Tell You ‘Bout Jasper” which was awarded and screened at several festivals including the World of Women’s Cinema Festival and the Byron Bay Film Festival; Jake Nielsen, Matthew Predny, Jack McAvoy and Alana Greig are teaming up again to actualise what has now become a well-honed mastery for them in musical theatre films.

Writer/Director Jake Nielsen’s previous work also includes the musical theatre stage show, “The Atheists Guide to the Galaxy” (Audience Choice at The Sydney Fringe Festival 2012). He also wrote the screenplay for the short film “Afterbirth,” which screened at the Sydney Underground Film Festival (2015). He was also nominated for “Young Film Maker of the Year Award” at the Byron Bay Film Festival (2015).

Musician and musical theatre performer Matthew Predny also worked as theMusical Director and composer of Atheists Guide to the Galaxy (Audience Choice at The Sydney Fringe Festival 2012). Last year, he played the lead role of Princeton inLCW’s 2015 production of Avenue Q and most recently he appeared in TML Productions’ 2015-2016 Australian Tour of “Fiddler on the Roof “.
