“The Secret of Spring” / VFX breakdown

I have done the entire opening sequence of this shortfilm called “The Secret of Spring” generating a journey across the universe.
I’ve done from art direction to the vfx itself.
To achieve this sequence I’ve modeled very simple geometries to import in houdini and create a complex pointcloud. Then I’ve imported the OBJ file in After Effects with Trapcode Form to generate multiple pases with different settings ( stars, dense smoke, nebulas) and handle all the composition with the animation inside to have more control.
Certainly was a challenge get this sequence in 20 days, but It was very fun to made!
